

How To Identify The Warning Signs Of Stress

Most employees emit clear warning signals before they become too stressed to function or attend work. I will here explain how to identify and act upon these signals.
Stress can be a good thing, motivating us to perform and giving us a sense of satisfaction when we succeed. Too little pressure and we become bored and disengaged.
Problems arise when our perception of a pressure exceeds our confidence in our ability to cope. The resulting stress, if prolonged, may lead to ill health, ranging from burnout to cardio-vascular problems.
